World of Lady Vintage

Hello sweethearts!

Thank you for taking your precious time to read my new blog post <3
One of the main reasons why I started writing this is that I have cooperated with a couple of great brands and didn't have a chance to write something more about them, so I decided to to correct that!
There are many great brands that deserve praise! One of them is Lady Vintage.

I collaborated with Lady Vintage last fall and they absolutely delighted me!
I follow their work since I got into vintage fashion and from time to time there is always that one dress that you would "die for"- for me that was Lady Vintage  Cream Cupcake Print Hepburn Dress. So when the opportunity for collaboration knocked it that was a dream come true.

From a large selection of dresses I chose my Cream Cupcake Print Hepburn Dress and the gorgeous Purple Rose Floral Collage on Cream Tea Dress. Package from London to Croatia came in a very short time, 5-6 days. And what can I say? It was love at first sight ^.^

First the Purple Rose Floral Collage on Cream Tea Dress. This classic 50s Tea Dress features a 50s style flared skirt with a fitted bodice. It has a high neck at the front and a V neck at the back with a zip fastening and cute little straps that are tied into a bow. The dresses are designed to sit at the knee and they are not lined. I am wearing mine with a 23" length petticoat, I prefer this look for more formal events but this dress is also perfect for a daily walks without petticoat.

This dress also comes in Red Rose which my dear friend Nevenka has. So we teamed with Blue Turpentine and had a tea party at pastry shop Slasta.

And now my dream dress, the Cream Cupcake Print Hepburn Dress. I just can't resist that cute print, novelty fabrics are my weakness.

This popular Audrey Hepburn dress features a full 1950s style flared skirt, and has a high neck at the front and back which creates an extremely classy and elegant look. There is a concealed zip fastening at the back and the dresses come complete with a slim black suede effect belt. The dresses are true 1950s length, although petticoat is not essential I am wearing my dress with 27" petticoat for an extremely vintage look. It si made out of Cotton Sateen that has an excellent stretch and it is not lined.
Although, the first thing that comes to mind with these dress are sweets I have decided to do something different for my photoshoot . Inspired by Edward Runci "They're Easy To Handle" pin up oil painting this is one of my favorite photos.

I must commend the whole team and especially lady Victoria! She is such a sweetheart <3
All dresses are designed in house at Lady V London. Until June 2013, all dresses had been made in the heart of London as they strongly believe in supporting British Businesses and British Workers.
One thing that is very important to me is the quality and a Lady Vintage dresses are very high quality, easy to maintain and the fabric is very resistant to wrinkling (I do travel a lot by car and do not like to get out of it as if I was chewed by a cow hahaha). I love that size range goes from 8 to 32 and their Lady Voluptuous Plus Size Vintage Clothing label dresses created in collaboration with Georgina Horne from the blog Fuller Figure Fuller Bust are stuning!!!
NOTE: Do check size guide when you buy different style dresses! If a Tea style dress is convenient for you in size 8 it does not mean that the same size will match for Audrey or other style dress.

So if you are looking for a timeless dress that will be used time and time again and provide you with many happy memories I suggest that you purchase from Lady Vintage but be careful! Their classic vintage styles will make you swoooon <3
